A light sweet scent with notes of spice.
This hot process soap is made with enormous amounts of love. The apples in each bar are grown and picked by my dear Aunt Mary in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. Then she crafts her award-winning apple butter and lets me commit the crime of turning this delicious spread into soap!… but she agrees it’s worth it. These bars smell amazing and have an excellent lather due to the extra sugars. Appalachian Applebutter became such a hit that Aunt Mary started canning extra apple butter just for this soap. We come from a lineage of strong Appalachian women (including farmers and soap makers), so this is such a fun way for my aunt and I to honor the crafts of our grandmothers together. Made with organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, fair trade shea butter, water, sodium hydroxide (lye), organic hemp oil, organic castor oil, Appalachian grown apples, sugar, spices (clove cinnamon), pure essential oils (orange, clove, cassia, cinnamon).
