Mila is a cold process soap in honor of my great aunt who spent the first 9 decades of her life on our family’s farm in Eastern Kentucky. She is celebrating her 99th birthday this summer! She has played an integral role in my path to soap making by sharing knowledge and recently, gifting me her mother’s sacred soap kettle.
I would consider this a milder scent dominated by grounding base notes of cedar/patchouli. I tried to capture the earthy essence of a farm surrounded by the forest. Each bar is topped with a pine cone from the Eastern Hemlock which grows in her backyard and by the cliff at the edge of the farm.
Made with: organic extra virgin olive oil, organic coconut oil, fair trade shea butter, water, sodium hydroxide (lye), organic castor oil, organic hemp oil, pure essential oils (cedar, fir, patchouli, lavender, vetiver, rosemary), organic lemon juice, fair trade Brazilian clay, rosemary, green tea, spirulina, indigo. Adorned with lavender, rosemary, and a pine cone. Please remove pine cone before use.
Approximately 4.2 oz./bar
This listing is for one bar of soap. Due to the handmade nature of the soap, bars will vary in physical appearance.
